We looked at every step of the application process and identified trouble spots based on our work with schools going through this process. Then we built tools to address every pain point. Here's one example.

One requirement for portability is to complete a spreadsheet showing that every competency and key performance indicator is met sufficiently in your course. The state and panel changed the document to require more detail to be included starting in spring 2020. Here is a screenshot of the new template that is required. Over 30 rows must be completed.

We found people who have applied for portability and asked them to help us out with this document but for commonly used materials, like the QL/Stats courses that use the free state resources or the textbook Math Lit. It took hours for these implementers to complete this document to the level required. In our portability workshop course, you get three completed versions, the two mentioned for the QL/Stats course and one for a tech math course using the free statewide resources. Here's a screenshot of part of one of the QL/Stats versions. With access to the portability course, you're free to edit the spreadsheets as needed to customize them to your implementation of the course.
